Lithography: Preparing Your Plate or Stone

In this video, I counter etch a ball grain aluminum plate with a citric acid and water solution. This sensitizes the plate or stone, preparing it for drawing. Then I mark the plate with T and Bar registration marks (same could be done for a stone), and paint a gum border for the non-image areas. This video covers how to plan your image and paper size for the plate or stone you have.
